Righteous Slaughter, Jimmy De Santa's favourite shooter, is back on a T-shirt

What it is

At around 1:07 to 1:08 of Trailer 1, a social-media-style clip tagged @HighRollerzMag shows a heavyset man in a white graphic tee posing between two lowered cars at night. The print shows a cartoon soldier over the words RIGHTEOUS SLAUGHTER, with a second line ending in OPS underneath. His arm hides the first word of that line; press coverage at the time read it as "Blood Ops". The shirt was spotted within days of the trailer's release and credited on X to the Rockstar Universe account.

Why it matters

Righteous Slaughter is GTA V's in-universe Call of Duty, the game Michael's son Jimmy spends most of the story playing and trash-talking in. An "...Ops" subtitle lines it up with Black Ops, so the joke has moved on with the real series. It's a small sign that the GTA V universe carries on into VI, merchandise and all, and that Rockstar's in-house parodies keep evolving between games instead of resetting.

• Theory: Cal's bird line is a Birds Aren't Real jokeOne of Cal Hampton's official quotes complains about "way too many birds flying around in perfect formation", which reads a lot like the satirical Birds Aren't Real movement.
