Theory: The Ammu-Nation pitchman in Trailer 2 is Phil Cassidy
Some fans think the shouting gun salesman in Trailer 2's Ammu-Nation commercial is Phil Cassidy, the one-armed arms dealer from the 3D-era games. The footage argues against it.

What supports it
- Phil Cassidy is the series' best-known gun dealer, so he suits an Ammu-Nation ad.
- The pitchman's rough, veteran look fits the character.
What argues against it
- The man in the ad clearly uses two arms; Phil lost one in Vice City's story.
- Nothing on screen names him, and there's no visible caption or voice line in the trailer.
- The claim that he is 'missing an arm' doesn't hold up when you check the official footage frame by frame.

The claimUnconfirmed
The Ammu-Nation TV ad at about 2:09 to 2:13 of Trailer 2 stars a long-haired, bearded man in a tank top, waving guns at the camera. Several easter-egg roundups suggested this is Phil Cassidy, the army veteran and arms dealer from GTA III, Vice City and the Stories games. One went as far as saying he appears "missing arm and all".
[1][2]How it holds upUnconfirmed
Phil fits the job, since he's a gun-mad veteran who sells weapons. But when we checked the frames on Rockstar's official Trailer 2 page, the pitchman clearly uses both arms, gripping a machine gun with two hands. Phil lost an arm during Vice City's story and was one-armed from then on in series chronology. The look is generic loud salesman. We'd call this a fun idea that the trailer doesn't support.
