"Channel the Original Kingpin": a weapon skin based on Tommy Vercetti's shirt

What it is

Every pre-order and early purchase of GTA VI includes the Vintage Vice City Pack. One of its items is a weapon pattern called "Channel the Original Kingpin", described on the official site as a way to "adorn most guns with a tropical pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti's iconic palm tree button-up." The promo image shows Jason holding a submachine gun wrapped in the print.

Why it matters

This is the rare case where Rockstar names the reference itself. Tommy Vercetti, the Vice City protagonist from 2002, ended that game as the city's undisputed kingpin, and his teal Hawaiian shirt is probably the most recognisable outfit in the series. Using his name in official marketing confirms that Tommy exists in GTA VI's version of Vice City history. It doesn't say whether he appears in the game.
