Flash FM

Flash FM is the pop station in Grand Theft Auto VI, hosted on air by Robyn and Alex. It is the only one of the six stations revealed on October 8, 2026 that returns from an earlier game: it first played in GTA Vice City in 2002.

Overview

Rockstar calls Flash FM "the Vice City institution that delivers the best in pop music," hosted by Robyn and Alex and "guaranteed to make you dance no matter where you find yourself in the Goodtime State." The music page trims that to "the best in pop music and guaranteed grooves."

The word "institution" is doing real work there. Of the six stations in the October 8 reveal, Flash FM is the only one with a past, and Rockstar sells it on that past instead of introducing it from scratch. Like every GTA VI station, it plays in vehicles and, for the first time in the series, on foot through headphones or earbuds connected to the protagonists' phones.

Flash FM in earlier games

Flash FM first aired in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, released in October 2002 and set in 1986 in a Vice City based on Miami. Its DJ was Toni, and it played contemporary pop and rock of the period, including Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean," Hall & Oates' "Out of Touch," The Buggles' "Video Killed the Radio Star" and Laura Branigan's "Self Control." "Billie Jean" is missing from some later versions, among them the mobile and Trilogy releases.

The station came back in Vice City Stories (2006), a prequel set in 1984, where Toni shares the booth with Teri. GTA VI brings the name into a modern Vice City.

Who Robyn and Alex are reported to beUnconfirmed

Rockstar names the hosts only as Robyn and Alex. The Fader and Stereogum both identify them as the pop singer Robyn and the model Alex Consani, and a CharlieIntel post embedded in Dexerto's coverage lists "Flash FM: Robyn & Alex Consani." The Fader called Consani an "internet icon" and wrote that the pair "will be bumping some club beats." Rockstar's own pages do not spell out the identities, so this wiki treats them as reported.

What the preview playsUnconfirmed

Flash FM's preview is on Rockstar's music page. Game Informer identified three songs in it with Shazam: "Good Ones" by Charli XCX, "Electric Feel" by MGMT, and "Midnight Sun (Girls Trip)" by Zara Larsson and PinkPantheress. PinkPantheress also appears on the album single Sexy Magic.

Three songs from a short clip are not a track list. Still, nothing in the preview is from the 1980s, so the returning name does not seem to mean a retro playlist.
