Fans compared it to the white jacket and purple shirt worn by Lance Vance, Tommy Vercetti's flashy partner in GTA: Vice City, who betrays Tommy near the end of the game.

The colour scheme is close, and Rockstar has already used Vice City imagery all over GTA VI's marketing, so a costume nod is believable. Some fans go further and read it as a hint that Raul will betray Jason and Lucia. A pale jacket over a bright shirt is also just the standard Miami gangster look.
