Flower in a Hurricane

Overview

"Flower in a Hurricane" is the song Rockstar chose for the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer, released on October 15, 2026. It is credited to the electronic duo Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar's video page says the trailer features "the debut of 'Flower in a Hurricane'," and the YouTube description sent viewers to the full track the same day.

A break from the earlier trailers

The first two trailers were cut to older licensed songs: Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road" in Trailer 1 and The Pointer Sisters' "Hot Together" in Trailer 2. PC Gamer pointed out that the Launch Trailer drops that habit for a new track from the duo scoring the game. TheGamer describes the song kicking in for the trailer's montage after Jason's opening narration about his Army past.

Who is on it

Justice are the French duo Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. Their debut album, Cross, came out in 2007. The Tame Impala credit is a repeat pairing: the two acts had already worked together on "One Night/All Night" and on "Neverender," which won a Grammy. SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard complete the credit, in the order Rockstar lists it.

Place on the album

Rockstar calls it "the new standalone Justice single" and says it is "also available on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album," the 34-track soundtrack due on November 19, 2026. On Rockstar's music page it sits in the singles list between "Sexy Magic" and "Last Thing You Need," which makes it the ninth single from the album so far. The other eight are listed in Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album.

Justice and the GTA VI score

The single came with bigger news for Justice. Rockstar's Newswire post names them "composers of the original score from Grand Theft Auto VI," and the music page now opens with a Score panel headed "Official Score by Justice." An official score album is on the way, but Rockstar has only told fans to "stay tuned" for it, with no date or track list. The radio stations are a separate part of the game's music.

Where to listen

Rockstar links to the song in three places. The YouTube description and the Listen Now button in the Score panel on Rockstar's music page both point to justice.lnk.to/flowerinahurricane. The album's singles list on the same page uses gtavi-thealbum.lnk.to/FIAH. The full album can be pre-saved at gtavi-thealbum.lnk.to/gtavithealbum, and vinyl and CD pre-orders are at gtavi-thealbum.com.

Will it play in the game?Unconfirmed

Not confirmed. Rockstar has presented "Flower in a Hurricane" as a single and as trailer music. It has not said whether the song plays on a radio station or turns up in the score during play.
