Vapid Caracara 4x4
The Vapid Caracara is the big silver Vapid pickup Brian Heder arrives with in the opening scene of GTA VI's Trailer 2. Its hood decal reads "Caracara", and a lifeguard version appears in Trailer 1.

Overview
The Caracara is one of the few trailer vehicles with its name printed right on it. In the opening seconds of Trailer 2, Brian Heder walks up to Jason's house while his silver Vapid pickup sits behind him, and the decal across the hood reads "Caracara". The Drive spotted it on the day the trailer launched, and PC Gamer and GamesRadar both list it as Brian's truck.
Rockstar has never published a vehicle roster, so the full "Caracara 4x4" name comes from press identification against the GTA Online model. The Caracara name itself is printed on the truck in official footage.
[2][4][5][6]Where it appears
Trailer 2, opening scene. Brian's Caracara is parked next to Jason's older Vapid Ganado. The two trucks sit side by side as a quick character sketch: Brian's is newer, bigger and cleaner, and Jason's is the worn-out one.
Trailer 1, beach scene. GamesRadar identifies a Caracara 4x4 in lifeguard trim among the crowd on the beach. That suggests the model is not unique to Brian and will show up as an ordinary service vehicle too.
Official screenshots. Rockstar's Only in Leonida gallery includes a shot described as "A woman, Brian, and Jason stand outside talking in front of a pickup truck", and another of Brian and Jason riding together with Jason at the wheel. The truck in both is silver with off-road tyres and looks like the trailer Caracara, but Rockstar's captions do not name it.
[2][1][6][3]Why "Caracara"Unconfirmed
The Drive caught the joke first. A caracara is a bird of prey, a raptor, and the truck is plainly Rockstar's take on Ford's F-150 Raptor. PC Gamer also calls it an "F-150 homage".
The name has a Florida angle too, and it fits a game set in a Florida stand-in. The crested caracara's northern range is a small, isolated pocket in the middle of the Florida peninsula, and the bird is often seen feeding on roadkill beside the road with vultures. Rockstar has not explained the name, so the local link is our observation rather than a confirmed intent.
[4][5][8]History in the series
The Caracara is a returning name. GTA Online already has a Vapid Caracara 4x4, a four-door off-road pickup tied to its Diamond Casino and Resort content. GTA VI's version is a full rebuild with far more detail, which matches what The Drive said about returning vehicles in Trailer 2: older names come back with a big jump in quality.
[7][4]What it suggests about gameplayUnconfirmed
The truck is a useful clue about Brian. Rockstar describes him as a veteran Keys drug runner, and a well-kept full-size off-road pickup is a practical tool in that line of work. PC Gamer made the same point, guessing it is "useful for more than just hauling construction materials". That is speculation, and Rockstar has not said whether Jason can borrow, keep or steal it.
