GTA 6 Trophies and Achievements: What We Know

Is the GTA 6 trophy list out?

Not yet. As of October 7, 2026, neither Rockstar nor the PlayStation or Xbox stores show a trophy or achievement list for GTA VI, and Rockstar has said nothing about one. We do not know how many trophies there are, what the Platinum asks for, or whether any trophies depend on an online mode.

When the official list appears, it replaces the history below as the main content of this page.

Will GTA 6 have trophies at all?Unconfirmed

Almost certainly, though Rockstar has not said so. Sony made trophies mandatory for new PlayStation games from January 2009, and Xbox has had achievements since the Xbox 360 launched in 2005. Treat this as inference until the list is published.

How GTA V's list looked

GTA V launched on Xbox 360 in September 2013 with 49 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore, according to Redmond Pie. About a third of the list belonged to GTA Online: reaching Rank 25, 50 and 100, winning every type of competitive mode, finishing all ten waves of a Survival and so on.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version keeps the same core. TechRadar's guide lists a Platinum plus 3 Gold, 5 Silver and 44 Bronze trophies, and 17 of the entries start with "GTA Online:". The three Golds show where the effort goes:

• Career Criminal. 100 percent game completion.
• Solid Gold, Baby. 70 Gold Medals across story missions and Strangers and Freaks.
• Above the Law. Rank 100 in GTA Online.

Collectibles feed the list too. From Beyond the Stars asks for all 50 spaceship parts, Waste Management for all the nuclear waste, Show Off for every stunt jump and Close Shave for all Under the Bridge and Knife Flight challenges. Our collectibles guide covers what each set unlocked.

How Red Dead Redemption 2's list looked

Red Dead Redemption 2 has 52 trophies including the Platinum. PowerPyx's roadmap splits them into 34 story trophies and 18 for Red Dead Online, and the Platinum requires all of them, online included. It rates the list 6 out of 10 for difficulty and estimates 240 to 300 hours, around 200 of them in story mode.

The hardest trophy, by PowerPyx's account, is Gold Rush: 70 Gold Medals in story missions, which usually means replaying missions to hit every optional objective. Four trophies are missable because they depend on camp activities in Chapters 2 to 4, and using cheats disables trophies.

When trophy lists appear before launchUnconfirmed

For Rockstar's last two big launches, the lists surfaced through platform data or early copies a few weeks before release:

• GTA V. The Xbox 360 achievement list was published by Xbox360Achievements around August 18 to 20, 2013, roughly a month before the September 17 launch, Ubergizmo and Redmond Pie reported.
• Red Dead Redemption 2. The full list appeared on October 11, 2018, 15 days before the October 26 launch. PlayStation LifeStyle and RDR2.org said it came from a PSNProfiles user. Story trophies stayed hidden until unlocked.

Applied to GTA VI's November 19 release date, that history points to a list sometime between mid October and the November 12 pre-load. That is a pattern, not a promise. We will use the list once it is visible on the official PlayStation or Xbox pages, and we will not reproduce lists taken from leaked builds.

What to expect from GTA 6's listUnconfirmed

Our inference from the last two Rockstar lists, not a confirmed fact:

• A 100 percent trophy and a medal trophy. Both GTA V and Red Dead 2 had one each, and both were among the hardest on their lists.
• Story trophies hidden until unlocked. Red Dead 2 hid nine trophies by default, mostly story beats.
• The online question. Both Platinums required online play. Rockstar has not announced an online mode for GTA VI, so whether any trophies depend on one is the biggest unknown on the list.
• Cheats will probably cost you. In GTA V, cheats turned off trophies for the session, and in Red Dead 2 they also blocked saving. See our cheats guide before typing anything in.

Habits worth carrying over from GTA V and Red Dead 2Unconfirmed

None of this is confirmed for GTA VI, but the last two lists punished the same mistakes.

• Go for medals on your first run. PowerPyx's Red Dead 2 roadmap notes that Gold Medals were easier on the main playthrough than on replay, because replays strip you back to basic weapons and no tonics. GTA V's Solid Gold, Baby worked on the same 70-medal idea.
• Watch for missable side content. Red Dead 2's four missable trophies all came from camp activities and optional story missions that closed off as chapters moved on.
• Keep a clean save before cheating. GTA V switched trophies off for the rest of the session after a cheat, and Red Dead 2 stopped you saving at all.
• Do not leave online to the end. Both Platinums needed online ranks: Rank 100 in GTA Online for GTA V, and the Red Dead Online trophies for Red Dead 2. PowerPyx estimated 40 to 100 hours of online play for the latter.

If GTA VI's list follows the same shape, the 100 percent trophy will be the long one. GTA V's 100 percent checklist, as documented by the GTA Wiki, mixed story missions with hobbies, collectibles and purchases such as five properties and a vehicle bought from an in-game website.

What happens to this page at launch

When the official list is public we will add the total, the grade breakdown and every non-hidden trophy, and give each trophy its own entry in the trophies section with its official name and description, marked confirmed. Unlock tips stay unconfirmed until we have earned the trophy ourselves. Hidden story trophies will be listed behind spoiler warnings.
