Is GTA 6 coming out on PC?

Not at launch, and no PC version has been announced at all. The official GTA VI page lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Take-Two's most recent release schedule, in its August 7, 2026 results, lists the same two platforms for November 19, 2026.

We found no Steam listing for GTA VI and no PC system requirements from Rockstar. The Xbox Store page is for the console version, and its only capability badge is "Optimized for Xbox Series X|S". Last checked: October 20, 2026.

Can you play GTA 6 on PC through Xbox Cloud Gaming?

No. On October 6, 2026, The Verge reported that Xbox had secured GTA 6 streaming rights, and its first version said the deal was exclusive and implied PC players could stream the game. A few hours later Xbox chief strategy officer Matthew Ball wrote on X that the game "will not be streaming exclusively or to PC." The Verge corrected its story.

What is still open is whether GTA VI will be on Xbox Cloud Gaming for consoles on day one and on which devices. Neither Microsoft nor Rockstar has published a device list. Also note that from November, Xbox Wire says Game Pass plans come with monthly cloud hour limits.

Is GTA 6 on Game Pass?

No Game Pass release has been announced for console or PC. GTA VI is sold as a Standard or Ultimate Edition on the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store and Rockstar Store. If that changes, it would come from an Xbox Wire post or Rockstar, not a leak account.

What has Take-Two said about a PC version?Unconfirmed

Nothing specific to GTA VI on the record. At Take-Two's annual shareholder meeting on September 17, 2026, CEO Strauss Zelnick reportedly called PC "more and more important" to the business and said the company releases on platforms where there is a meaningful audience, according to GTA BOOM. That is a general comment about Take-Two's strategy. He did not announce a GTA VI PC version or a date, and we could not find a transcript to check the exact wording.

How long did GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 take to reach PC?

Rockstar has released its last two big console games on PC later, after a gap of a year or more.

GTA V's PC version itself slipped three times, from fall 2014 to January 2015, then to March 24 and finally April 14, 2015, according to HEXUS. Red Dead Redemption 2 was announced for PC on October 4, 2019, about a month before release.

Applying the same gaps to GTA VI would point somewhere between late 2027 and mid-2028. That is arithmetic on past releases, not a prediction from Rockstar, and Rockstar has never promised the pattern will repeat.

Are there GTA 6 PC system requirements?

No. Without an announced PC version there are no official PC requirements to publish. Tables listing a minimum graphics card or RAM for GTA 6 are guesses. Be careful with "GTA 6 PC download" sites as well: Rockstar offers no official PC download, so do not trust sites advertising one.

What would change the answer?

Any one of these would count as a real PC announcement:

• A Rockstar Newswire post naming a PC version or window
• A Steam, Epic or Rockstar Games Launcher page published by Rockstar
• PC platforms added to a Take-Two release schedule; the next one is due with its results on November 9, 2026
• An official minimum and recommended specs sheet

GAME displayed £64.99 but also marked its page out of stock; ShopTo listed £67.85. Argos and Smyths prices were not verified. Ultimate (£89.99) is digital only.
• GTA 6 Price in Canada: Where to Buy and Pre-OrderGTA 6 costs CA$109.99 for the Standard Edition in Canada and CA$139.99 for Ultimate on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. On 20 October 2026 Best Buy Canada listed the code-in-box version at CA$109.99, and Amazon.ca showed CA$109.96. Walmart's search listing did not provide a product page we could verify. EB Games blocked our check, so its listing is not verified.
