How to Pre-Order GTA 6: Bonuses, Pre-Load and Deadlines

Where to pre-order

Rockstar lists the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store and Rockstar Store. It also says the game is available from select retailers and third-party storefronts in supported countries. Availability varies by country. GTA VI is announced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; Rockstar has not announced a PC version.

What you get for pre-ordering

Rockstar lists the Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+ with eligible digital editions purchased before November 20, 2026. The Vintage pack includes the '55 Vapid Stanier Sedan and Garage, outfits and hairstyles, and an exclusive weapon pattern. Physical pre-orders include a download code for the game and the Vintage pack; Rockstar does not list GTA+ as part of the physical edition.

GTA+ redemption depends on platform: redeem a PlayStation offer by March 31, 2027, or a Microsoft Store offer within 180 days of purchase. The month auto-renews at the regular monthly price unless canceled. There is one redemption per platform account, and refunding then re-ordering does not grant another free month.

The deadline for the bonuses

The store pages phrase the cut-off differently. PlayStation and Xbox list the Vintage Vice City Pack and GTA+ offer for purchases made prior to November 19, 2026 at 23:59:59. Rockstar Store says to order before November 20, while supplies last. These listings do not state a time zone, so check the live offer for your account region instead of assuming one.

Pre-load and physical copies

Pre-load begins at local midnight on November 12, 2026, one week before launch. Rockstar says the physical code-in-box version is expected to be available for shipping or pick-up from retailers starting November 12. That is an availability date, not a guaranteed delivery date; shipping time depends on the option selected at checkout. The box contains a download code, not a disc.

Watch the region on codes

Code restrictions depend on the platform and the region of your account. PlayStation codes are grouped by account region: North America covers the U.S. and Canada, the U.K. is a separate group, and Germany is in Rockstar's Rest of EMEA and Asia group. Japanese PlayStation product codes expire 170 days after issuance, which Rockstar identifies as the November 19 launch date. Xbox codes are not region-locked. Rockstar recommends buying from a retailer in the same country as your platform account to avoid activation problems.

Cancelling a pre-order

Cancellation rules depend on the store and your country.

• Rockstar Store: Xsolla handles support. Request a refund for a digital pre-order from Purchases in Xsolla Wallet. A physical pre-order can be canceled only before it ships.
• Xbox / Microsoft Store: Sign in to Microsoft Order history and choose Cancel. If the order was already billed but the game has not released, Microsoft processes the cancellation as a refund.
• PlayStation Store: Check the policy for your country. Under the U.K. policy, an unstarted digital pre-order can be canceled; if you paid more than 14 days before release, request cancellation before release, or if you paid within 14 days of release, within 14 days of payment. Starting the download or pre-load generally removes refund eligibility unless the product is faulty.
