GTA 6 Languages: Subtitles, Voice Acting and the Full List
GTA 6 supports 13 languages for menus and subtitles, including Russian, Polish, Korean, Japanese and both Spanish variants. Voice acting is English only, according to the Microsoft Store listing. Turkish, Arabic and Dutch are not on the list.

What languages does GTA 6 support?
GTA 6 supports 13 languages. Rockstar's store lists them as English, French, Italian, German, Russian, Japanese, Polish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish (Mexico), Spanish (Spain) and Portuguese (Brazil). The Microsoft Store shows the same count, "13 Supported languages", for the US and UK.
The catch is in the detail. Only English has a voice track. The Microsoft Store's language table marks English as interface, audio and subtitles, and the other twelve as interface and subtitles only. So if you play in German or Japanese, you read German or Japanese text while the cast speaks English.

This is what the Microsoft Store listing showed on October 25, 2026. The Rockstar Store lists the same 13 names but does not split text from audio, and the PlayStation Store page shows no language details at all.

Store listings can change before launch, and Rockstar has not said whether it will add languages later. We will check the list again when pre-load opens on November 12.
[2][3][1][4]Is GTA 6 dubbed? Voice languages explained
No dub is listed. The only audio language on the Microsoft Store is English (United States), on both the US and UK pages. Rockstar itself has not made a statement about voice languages, and the PlayStation Store page does not show audio details, so the Xbox listing is the clearest official signal so far.
Spanish outlet Vandal reported the same thing back in June, also based on the Microsoft Store page rather than anything Rockstar said. Nothing suggests the PS5 version has different audio, but no PlayStation listing confirms it either.
If you want to know who is behind the English voices, see our GTA 6 voice actors and cast page.
[2][3][4][10]Does GTA 6 have Russian?
Yes, as text. Russian is on Rockstar's list of 13 languages, and the Microsoft Store marks it for menus and subtitles. There is no Russian voice track: the only audio language listed is English.
This covers what the game supports. Whether you can buy it in your country is a separate question that depends on the store and your account region, which our pre-order guide covers.
[1][2]Does GTA 6 have Turkish, Arabic or Dutch?
Not at launch, going by the listings. Turkish, Arabic, Dutch and Portuguese (Portugal) all appear in the Microsoft Store's language table with every box unticked, and none of them is on Rockstar's list. PlayStation and Xbox both list Turkish as a console language, so the gap is in the game, not the console.
Rockstar has not explained the choice or said whether more languages will follow. Treat any claim of a Turkish patch as unconfirmed until it shows up on a store page.
[2][1][7][9]How to change the language on PS5Unconfirmed
Rockstar has not said how GTA 6 picks its language, and you cannot test it before November 19. These are two general PS5 language settings to check; Rockstar has not confirmed that GTA 6 uses either one:
- Console language: Settings > System > Language > Console Language. This changes the PS5 menus and is the language many games start in.
- Game presets: Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Game Presets > Subtitles and Audio. PlayStation says you can "set the game language to be the same as your console language, or the original audio of the game."
PlayStation also warns that "Some settings may not apply to all your games." Whether GTA 6 has its own language option in its settings menu is unconfirmed until launch.
[6][5]How to change the language on Xbox Series X|SUnconfirmed
On Xbox, Microsoft's steps are:
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Language & location.
- Pick your language, check the location, then select Restart now.
Microsoft notes that language and location are linked: the location list only shows countries that support the language you picked. As on PS5, it is unconfirmed whether GTA 6 follows the console language or has its own in-game setting. Check again after launch.
